Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to feel confident before you shop.
Ask our teamAre these legal in Australia?
Yes — but only ours are. Gender Reveal Ideas is the only supplier of government-approved gender reveal smoke products in Australia, registered with Resources Safety & Health Queensland. Many other sites sell imitations that have never been approved.
Will the powder or smoke stain?
It can stain if discharged straight onto clothing, furniture or walls, particularly indoors or in an enclosed space. Outdoors in an open, well-ventilated area there is little to no risk — the smoke disperses into the air.
Are these harmful to the environment?
No. They are made with biodegradable materials and are safe for the environment when used as directed. Please dispose of them properly after your reveal.
Can a friend choose the colour for me?
Yes. Choose the “To Be Announced” option at checkout and give your order number to your friend. They can tell us the colour discreetly, and we will make sure the right one reaches you without a single hint.
How fast is shipping?
Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 11am AEST, with free express shipping over $150.
Can I keep the gender a surprise?
Absolutely. Choose the To Be Announced option and have a friend arrange the colour discreetly.
